This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal data when you use ExamSprint, in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and other applicable Indian laws.
This policy applies to all users of the ExamSprint mobile application, website, and related services, wherever they are located, as long as we process their personal data in digital form. [It does not apply to purely offline use or anonymised data that can no longer identify you.]
We only access basic profile information (name, email address, and profile picture) through Google Sign-In and do not access your contacts, Google Drive, or any other personal data from your Google account.
Ads displayed in the app may be personalized based on limited device signals provided by Google, or may be shown as non-personalized ads depending on your device settings and applicable consent requirements.
We use third-party SDKs such as Firebase and Google AdMob that function similarly to cookies to collect usage data, device information, and interaction signals for analytics, performance monitoring, security, and advertising purposes.
Under the DPDP Act, we process your personal data mainly on the basis of your consent and for certain legitimate purposes permitted by law (such as fraud prevention, network security, and compliance with legal obligations).
As a Data Principal under the DPDP Act, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
You can exercise these rights by emailing us at Examsprintersupport@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 30 days or within the timelines prescribed by law.
We rely on trusted third-party service providers (data processors) to run ExamSprint. They are contractually bound to process your data only on our instructions, implement appropriate security measures, and not sell your data.
We may also share data when required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect our legal rights, users, or the public.
When we transfer your personal data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place as required under the DPDP Act. These safeguards may include standard contractual clauses and reliance on trusted service providers with globally recognised compliance and security frameworks.
Logs are deleted within ~30 days.
Account deletion requests are processed within 7–30 days, including removal from active systems and backups where feasible.
Used for recommendations and scheduling.
These systems do not affect your eligibility for exams, employment, financial opportunities, or legally significant outcomes.
ExamSprint is intended for students aged 16 years and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 years of age without verifiable parental consent.
If you are under 13, you must not use ExamSprint or submit any personal data to us. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will promptly delete such data and may disable the associated account.
For users between 13 and 18, we encourage the involvement and supervision of parents or guardians when using the app.
AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Users should independently verify important information.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
ExamSprint generates primarily original questions and explanations using a combination of artificial intelligence (including Google Gemini) and human review and editing. We take steps to minimise similarity with existing question banks.
Individual questions and factual content may not always be protected by copyright; however, our curated collections, structure, and edited content generally are. You may use questions and explanations for your personal learning only. Commercial use, large-scale scraping, or redistribution of our content without prior written permission is prohibited.
If you believe any content on ExamSprint infringes your rights, please contact us with details of your claim. We will investigate and, where appropriate, modify or remove the material.
We complete and maintain the Google Play Store “Data Safety” form to accurately describe how ExamSprint collects, uses, and shares user data. Providing false or incomplete information can lead to app removal, so we keep this disclosure aligned with our actual data flows.
In summary, we:
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, or our services. When we make material changes, we will notify you via an in-app notice, email, or website banner at least 7 days before the new policy takes effect, where required.
Your continued use of ExamSprint after the updated policy becomes effective will indicate your acceptance of the changes.
